James R. Roberts

Mr. James R. Roberts, age 82, of Powder Springs passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Rev. David Holcombe officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. A native of Phoenix City, Alabama, Mr. Roberts was retired from Lockheed Martin and was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served for 10 years. He was a member of Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs. Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Gail Hilton Roberts. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Lewis of Powder Springs and Robin (Robert) Sheffield of Powder Springs and grandchildren, Richard Brandon Lewis and Riley Lewis. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 11:30am until 2:00p.m. at Macland Baptist Church.
