James Richard Sweet

James Richard “Jim” Sweet, Sr., age 44, of Austell, GA passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012. Memorial Services will be held at 7pm on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Hollydale United Methodist Church with Rev. Leonard Akers officiating.

A native of the Atlanta area, Mr. Sweet had lived most of his life in Cobb County. After graduating from Henderson High School, he attended the University of Georgia and Georgia State University. He worked for Ruby Tuesday’s for 25 years, and most recently for O’Charley’s Restaurant. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Sweet.

Father: Carl Sweet, Sr., Cumming, GA

2 Brothers: Tom Sweet, Jr. and wife Lori, Marietta, GA
Michael Sweet, Augusta, GA

Sister: Carolyn Jolly and husband John, Cumming, GA

Aunt: Sue Sewell, Oakwood, GA

4 Nephews: Thomas III and Andrew Sweet, and Michael and William Jolly

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scout Troop #29 at the American Legion Post @ 921 Gresham Avenue N.E. Marietta, Georgia 30060 .
