James Francis Nance, age 78, of Acworth, Georgia passed away Friday, November 19, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, November 26, 2021 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Acworth, GA.
A native of Brazil, Indiana, Mr. Nance moved to Augusta, GA 50 years ago, then moved to Acworth, GA 18 years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. After serving in the Armed Forces, he worked for Scag Power Equipment for over 40 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and enjoyed spending time with his family. especially his grandsons.
Survivors include: Wife of 55 years, Paula J. Nance; Son, David (Carmen) Nance, Powder Springs, GA; Daughter, Jill Nance (William) Lawson, Howard's Creek, FL; Sister, Suzann Laughlin; Brother, Richard (Kim) Nance; 2 Grandsons, Nicholas Nance and Evan Nance.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James Nance's memory to St. Clare Catholic Church or the Knights of Columbus, 6301 Cedarcrest Rd., Acworth, GA 30101.
