Mr. James Edward McMillan

Mr. James Edward McMillan, affectionately known as Jim by his friends and family, age 50, of Dallas, GA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Jim was born on August 19, 1967, in Montgomery, AL, to parents, Mrs. Brenda Ann Saunders and the late Mr. Clarence Eldon McMillan. He was a loving father and worked as an electrician at Fowler Electrical for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed donating his time as a missionary with Engage Burkina and spending time with his friends and family.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Whitney McMillan; son, Jamie McMillan; mother, Brenda Rogers; siblings, Royce Albright, Dann McMillan, Joe McMillan, Angie Winters, Tammy Palmer and Mike Hughes. He was also survived by his adopted family, the Kilgore's. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life to honor Jim's memory will be held at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road SW, Marietta, GA 30064 on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at 6 PM, with Pastor Brian Bloye officiating.

The family will receive friends at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory on Sunday, December 10, 2017, from 4-6 PM.
