James Doyle Gamblin

James Doyle Gamblin, Sr., age 82, of Mableton, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, September 12, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Keith Collins and Joshua Gamblin officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.
Born in Acworth, Mr. Gamblin lived in Cobb County for most of his life. He worked as a baker for Colonial Bread Company for 15 years, then retired from Merico Bakery in Forest Park. He was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church.
Survivors: Wife, Eunice Gamblin; 4 Children, Doyle (DeAnn) Gamblin, Lithia Springs, GA, David (Deborah) Gamblin, Temple, GA, Tammy (Mike) Blackwood, Carrollton, GA and Jenny Bierley, Villa Rica, GA; Brother, Donald Gamblin, Palmetto, GA; 8 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
