James Earl Emerson, age 73, of Marietta, Georgia passed away April 19, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA.
James was a native of Albany, GA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. James loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include: wife: Opal Emerson of Marietta, GA; son: Blake Waldrop of Powder Springs, GA; three daughters: Wanda (Steve) Voyles of Hiram, GA, Pam (Eddie) Pope of Tallapoosa, GA and Susan (Chad) Brooks of Gainesville, GA; brother: Richard McGahee of Ashburn, GA; sister: Peggy Kitchens of Cochran, GA; ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
