James Grady Bowman III, age 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday Morning, January 21, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. His funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
He was born January 3rd, 1958 in Nashville to James Grady Bowman Jr and Marilyn Claire Bowman. He is survived by his wife, Karen Bowman, his children, Heather Bowman Wallace, Joan Shockey, Tara Sanders, Michael Cripps, Son-in laws, Shaun Wallace, Nick Shockey, Ryan Sanders, grandchildren, Elijah, Kaiden, and Gavin Wallace, Ethan, Morgan, Lauren, and Jordyn Shockey, Ty and Liam Sanders, beloved mom, Mary Bowman, and family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
In Lieu of flowers, the Bowman family would like to honor James Grady Bowman III with donations to his sponsored Compassion International Child Dayana. He one day hoped to travel to Bolivia to meet her face to face. We felt that he would be greatly honored by this gesture. We love you Gradyman!
