James William Bartlett, Jr.

Mr. James William Bartlett, Jr., age 43, of Hiram, GA passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Friday, June 10th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA with Rev. Jack Bartlett officiating.
Born in Atlanta and a native of Georgia, James graduated from McIntosh High School in Fayette County. After graduation, he attended and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies from Georgia Southern University. He then became a Police Officer, and worked for the Cobb County and Fulton County Police Departments. Afterwards, he was an Investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, and was a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Dallas, GA.

3 Sons: Joshua, Tyler and Brandon Bartlett, All of Hiram, GA
Mother: Nancy Bartlett, Fayetteville, GA
Sister: Felicia (Mark) Henley, Locust Grove, GA
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wellstar Community Hospice, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, GA 30106. The family will receive friends Friday from 12pm until 2pm prior to the ceremony.
