Jacqueline Whiteman Roddy

Jacqueline Whiteman Roddy, age 83, of Austell, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, April 6, 2012 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Roddy moved to Austell in 1962. She was a member of many organizations, including the Lake Forrest Country Club for 30 years, the Red Hat Society, and Davis Chapel Baptist Church. She was also named the Brighton Mother of the Year, and was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Roddy, in 2009.
Survivors include:
2 Children: David Roddy and wife Darlene, Powder Springs
Jennifer Still and husband Earnie, Marietta
Sister: Jessica McDonald, Hoschton, GA
4 Grandchildren: Jason Roddy, Joe Hammonds-Swain and wife J.R., Lindy Miller and husband Lee, and Ted Hammonds and wife Christina
3 Great Grandchildren: Aquila, Lindy-Kate and Ivrian
And her beloved pet, Simon
