Jaqueline Denys Arnold passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 49, at WellStar Tranquility at Cobb Hospital in Austell Georgia. Her battle with a rare form of cancer these past years showed her strength and will to face life challenges without complaint. Despite the severe pain and treatments, she remained strong and courageous beyond what’s normal until the end.
She was born on December 25,1971 at Fort Belvoir Virginia to Military parents Henry and Carolyn Dalton. They eventually settled in Denver, Co which she spent most of her child and adult life. Jacqueline grew up in the church and participated in many activities that laid the foundation for her success in life. Jacqueline was a flautist for many years, while in the Montbello High School Band she was selected to play in the City Wide Orchestra.
Jacqueline was a determined young woman who had aspirations of even being a Civil Engineer. In her journey of life, she relocated to South and North Carolina and eventually Atlanta, Georgia where she resided till her death. Jaqueline was a career driven woman who put her all into everything she did. Jaqueline loved being a Payroll Professional. She was big on if something needed to be accomplished she made sure the task was handled.
She always said that her two children were her best accomplishment. As a parent, she was a fierce protector and nurturer; she always made sure that even on her last that her children were still setup in the best positions. She loved a variety of things such as exotic, authentic food and was an avid reader of suspense and romance novels. She formed a love for K Pop music along with all genres of music. Binged watched her favorite tv shows was a passion too. She loved her share of mystery and Drama Shows as well.
Survivors include her son Donovan Dalton and a daughter Nala Arnold of Marietta GA, (Father) Henry Dalton and (Mother) Carolyn Dalton who preceded her in death May 2012. Sisters Heather Dalton and Alicia Farrington, Ex-husband Tommie Arnold. Along with nieces and nephews Cody Farrington, Leon Farrington, Ashanti Farrington and Tasenya Samuels with a host of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on October 19, 2021, from 10:00 am until 11:00 the service will begin at 11:00 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
