Jackie Doyle Conner

Jackie D. Conner, age 77, of Marietta, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, January 31, 2014, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta with Rev. Donald Richards officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.
Mr. Conner was born in Woodstock and retired from Lockheed where he worked as a Tool Planner. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and Air Force and a member of Mt. Oliver Baptist Church in Roswell.
He was preceded in death by parents, John Harvey and Delphia Levada Conner and daughter, Lisa Waters. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Wanda Nalley Conner; children, Denise Williams of Marietta; granddaughters, Valerie Gaddis and husband Sean, and Jacqueline Waters; son-in-law, Tony Waters; his precious great-grandchildren, Abigail Ann Gaddis and William Conner Gaddis and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11am-1pm.
