Jack C. Henson

Jack C. Henson, age 80, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away April 19, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, Georgia. Jack was preceded in death by his parents James and Dessie Atkins Henson, two sons Jack Dale Henson and William Bruce Henson, two sisters Elese (Harold) Reece and Elaine (Lee) Darby and three brothers JW Henson, James Max (Evelyn) Henson and Henry C. (Jeanette) Henson.

Jack was a native of Adairsville, GA and spent many years in Powder Springs, GA. He was Baptized in the Christian Faith and loved God. He enjoyed serving others, listening to gospel music and especially hosting family gatherings.

Survivors include: wife of 48 years Peggy Henson of Powder Springs and several children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
