Jack Carter Glass

Mr. Jack Carter Glass, age 85, of Marietta, GA passed away August 21, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, August 24th at Olive Springs Baptist Church in Marietta with Dr. Randy Cheek and Rev. Marion Beavers officiating. He will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service. A additional ceremony will be held at 11am on Friday, August 25th at Edgewood Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro, NC. He will also lie in state there at the church 1 hour prior to the ceremony. Burial will follow at Edgewood Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of North Wilkesboro, NC, Mr. Glass served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He started Jack Glass Electric in 1974, and he has passed it down through 3 generations of family. He served for many years as a Deacon at Olive Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie L. Glass, 2 sons, Dennis and Jack Glass, and a great granddaughter, Alexis McGrane.

6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews
