Ivy Mae Kennedy, age 84, of Marietta, GA passed away October 3, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna, Georgia.
Born in Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Kennedy retired from the Montag Company after over 20 years of employment. She was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Dallas, and enjoyed reading in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Kennedy, in 2014.
Survivors include:
3 Children: Liese (Glenn) Morris, Albuquerque, NM, Susan (Bubba) Vaughn, Dallas, GA and Elaine (Jim) Speer, Temple, GA
6 Grandchildren: Jacob Morris, Tim Vaughan, Lorrie and Mark Jeffries, Jennifer and Brad Williams, Stephen and Jessica Speer, and Jason and Melanie Speer
12 Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 6th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
