Iva Leola Bolin

Iva Leola Bolin, age 89, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away January 15, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Seven Springs Church at 4665 Macland Raod, Powder Springs, GA with Pastor Jason Bolin and Pastor Michael Sloan officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens in Powder Springs, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. O. C. Bolin.

Mrs. Bolin was born in Booneville, MS in 1931. She graduated from Pine Grove High School in Booneville, MS where she was part of the All State Basketball team. She graduated from NE Mississippi State Junior College with a nursing degree. After finishing her nursing program she moved to Arkansas where she married her husband, O. C. Bolin of Osceola, AR, from there they moved to Fresno, CA and then in 1966 moved to Powder Springs, GA. Mrs Bolin loved being a pastor's wife.

Survivors include: three sons: Bishop Jim (Robin) Bolin of Powder Springs, GA, Roger (Jennifer) Bolin of Hiram, GA and Ottis (Lynn) Bolin of Powder Springs, GA; sister: Ann Pearl Engle of Memphis, TN; brother: Bobby Gerald Greene of Memphis, TN; 11 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at Seven Springs Church in Powder Springs, GA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Iva Bolin's memory to Seven Springs Church at 4665 Macland Road, Powder Springs, GA.
