I.V. McTyre, age 94, of Powder Springs passed away Friday, January 31, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 11 am in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Joey Hatchell officiating. Interment will be at Powder Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. McTyre retired as Ward Secretary in the Pediatrics Unit at WellStar Kennestone Hospital and was of the Baptist Faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Coleman McTyre, Jr. and is survived by her children:
Bobby McTyre (Linda) of Powder Springs
Brenda Gilbert (Larry) of Powder Springs
Diane Ziegler (Ron) of Powder Springs
James McTyre of Powder Springs
Tim McTyre (Debbie) of Powder Springs
18 grandchildren and 34 Great-Grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
