Itoe Peter Valentine

Peter was born September 16th, 1949 and died on July 21st 2022. He was the third child of Papa and Mama Felix (Fericki) Itoe (both deceased of Dikome Balue.
He attended and completed his primary school education at RCM (Roman Catholic School) in Dikome Balue. After obtaining his First
School Certificate, he was admitted into the Catholic Teacher Training College in Bonjongo (located a few miles from Limbe) which used to be called Victoria at that time. He was later employed by the Catholic Mission to teach in Primary School. He resigned from the Catholic Mission employment and later taught in three different secondary schools — Sasse College, Saker Baptist College and Frankharcourt College.
He later moved to the United States to further his education in the later
1970's. He obtained his B.S. in Management/Marketing, a master’s in Business Administration at Northern State University (Arbedeen, SD) and University of South Dakota (Vermillion, SD) respectively.
He started his professional career as the Business Administrator for the Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe, KS. He later worked at several other organizations such as: Palmer Wireless (Financial Manager), Lincoln University, Instructor of Business at Albany State University, College of Coastal Georgia (Brunswick, GA), Altamaha Technical College (Brunswick, GA), GED Instructor, Savannah Board of Education (Savannah, GA), Savannah Technical College and Instructor/Chair of Business Management at Albany Technical College (Albany, GA).
He finally retired after his employment at Albany Technical College.
During his professional career, he received the following Honors and Recognition: Dean's List, Who’s Who Award, Presidential Awards in Sales and Teaching Excellence.
Peter leaves behind three loving children—Marike, Tua and Misodi; and several other relatives (cousins, brothers, nieces, nephews, etc.) both in Cameroon and the United States.
