Herman "Randy" Randolph Hawkins
March 31, 1952 — February 7, 2013
Herman Randolph “Randy” Hawkins, age 60, of Kennesaw, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Sunday, February 10, 2013, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road in Marietta with Mr. Steve Clark officiating. Inurnment will be held Monday, February 11, 2013, 10am at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
Born in Atlanta, Mr. Hawkins lived most of his life in Cobb County. Mr. Hawkins was a Mason serving as Past Master of Samuel S. Lawrence 721 and Past Patron of Formerly Samuel S. Lawrence OES 500. He worked as a building coordinator at KSU and was formerly employed with the Cobb County School System and Six Flags, Inc. Randy also enjoyed coaching softball at Bells Ferry Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley R. and Willie Mae Hawkins and sister, Judy L. Hawkins.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Clark Hawkins; daughters, Amanda Casey of Kennesaw and Frances (Josh) Hedrick of Marietta; sister, Melissa Hawkins of Marietta and 5 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12pm-2pm.
