Herbert S. Collins, 62, of Marietta passed away Friday, May 16, 2014. Services will be 2pm Thursday, May 22, 2014 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory with Ms. Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Mableton Memorial Gardens. A native of Lynchburg, VA, Mr. Collins moved to Marietta two years ago from High Point, North Carolina. He was a NA Sponsor and was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his mother, Susie A. (Talvin) Davis of Boston,MA.; children, Rayiam Collins of Boston, MA, Erika Morrison of Mableton, GA and Melanie Morrison (Wesley) Stewart of Marietta, GA; brothers, Raymond and William Collins of Boston, MA; step sister, Stacie Davis Spencer and step brother, Michael Davis; grandchildren, Aaron Craig Jr. , Miata Morrison, Elijah Brown, Kristianna Collins, Me-Ni Morrison Stewart, Aaron Collins, Myel Morrison Stewart, Moey Morrison Stewart and Myfa Morrison Stewart; god daughters, Nichole Stewart and Rhonda Kirkland; aunts, Margaret Brown and Elizabeth Hill; nieces, Simone (William) Eason and Alicia (Dewayne) Kent and a host of family and friends.
