Henry Jack Shaw

Mr Henry “Jack” Shaw, born February 27, 1927 and passed away on December 23, 2019. He was 92 years old. Jack was an army veteran of World War II and was stationed in Japan. He shared many of his war stories with his children and grandchildren. For approximately 20 years Jack lived in Cleveland, Georgia and enjoyed visits from his family. Jack was moved to Marietta, Georgia approximately three years ago to be close to his daughters after a stroke and subsequent surgery. Jack moved to a beautiful retirement community in Marietta and within 5 miles of both of his daughters. While at Winnwood Jack enjoyed talking with the residents and staff and attended many of the events and activities that were offered. He also looked forward to visits from his daughters, grandchildren, and great grand children! These visits were very special to him.

Surviving are three children, Debbie Beasley, Kenneth Shaw, and Janet Brannen; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The family will have a memorial in February, 2020.
