Henry Leon Casteel

Henry Leon Casteel, age 83, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away August 12, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Marietta, GA with Rev. Tommy Young officiating.

Henry was a native of Marietta, GA and has lived most of his life in Douglasville, GA. He retired from General Motors after 22 and half years. He loved woodworking, gospel singing, choir director, fishing, gardening, playing the piano, baseball, Falcons and especially spending time with his loving family. He was a member and Sunday School teacher at Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include: wife of 59 years Shirley Ann Casteel of Douglasville, GA; son: Anthony Leon (Michele) Casteel of Douglasville, GA; daughter: Pamela Renee (Jeff) Helton of Dallas, GA; five grandchildren: Elliot, Bethany, Tristan, Piper and Remington.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
