Helen Ruth Jones

Helen Ruth Jones, age 89, of Marietta went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 8, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 13 at Grace Pointe Church, Marietta. Mrs. Jones will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta.



Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Eugene Jones and caring son, Garry Jones. She is survived by her loving daughter, Suzanne “Suzy” (Scott) Cass of Perkiomenville, PA; two sisters who were her best friends, Margaret Page of Aiken, SC and Dorothy Webb of Powder Springs, GA; daughter-in-law, Tamara Jones, Powder Springs, GA, who treasured her; her two adored grandchildren: Brittany (Derek) Koch of Acworth, GA and Laura Beth Jones of Powder Springs, GA and multiple loving nieces, nephews and extended family.



Mrs. Jones was a lifelong resident of Georgia and of the Baptist faith. She was a member of Grace Pointe Church and taught Children’s Sunday School for many years and was a part of the Kitchen Cuties Ministry. She truly had a servant’s heart. She will be greatly missed.
