Ann Smith, born January 7th 1944, died in her home of 40 plus years in Powder Springs on September 28th 2022. She lost her long-time battle with cancer.
Ann was married 58 years to the love of her life Bob Smith. She was a graduate of Marietta High School. Ann was a longtime member of the Powder Springs Women's Club. She also was President of the Compton Elementary PTA, Sports Team Mother, and Member of Quilts of Valor. Beloved wife and Mother to all. Ann was known for her love of life and sincere devotion to her family and friends. She enjoyed car shows, cruises, woodworking, sewing, and playing bunco in her later years.
She is survived by her husband Bob, children Lori (Stephen) Archer and David (Kaye) Smith, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, gifts, or cards, donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
