Mrs. Harriett E. Pilcher, age 71, of Marietta passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 9 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Dr. Jim Lowry and Dr. Mike Cordle officiating. Inurnment will be at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Pilcher is preceded in death by her son, Douglas Scott Pilcher and is survived by her husband, William Pilcher of Marietta; children: Bryan Keith (Renea’) Pilcher of Marietta, Andrea Jeannine (Lincoln) Silver of Alpharetta and daughter-in-law, Julie Pilcher of Dallas; sister, Barbara (Joe) Davis of Smyrna; brother-in-law, Jerry Pilcher of Panama City Beach, FL and 7 grandchildren: Rachel, Drew, Andrea, Chase, Blake, Kirste, Cole and great-grandchild, Kenslie.
Donations may be made in Mrs. Pilcher’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alzfdn.org .
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 until 4 pm and 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
