Harold Junior Merritt

Harold Junior Merritt, age 73, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Tommy Young officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Merritt retired from the Bowles Gas Company after many years as a truck driver. He was formerly the Sunday school superintendant at Clay Road Baptist Church in Austell, and was a member and assistant Sunday school teacher at Higher Ground Baptist Church in Dallas. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Elaine Conley.

Sherrie McDaniel, Maine
3 Siblings: Roy Franklin Merritt, Nevada
Shirley Ann Casteel, Douglasville, GA

9 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
