Harold Eugene Brooks

Harold Eugene Brooks, age 83, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.



Born on June 7, 1932 in Forsyth County, Mr. Brooks moved to Powder Springs in 1970 from Smyrna. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He, along with his brother Hulett, owned and operated Brooks Brothers Grading Company for 45 years in Cobb County. Mr. Brooks served as a Deacon, and was a Sunday school teacher at both Sharon Baptist and Macland Baptist Churches. He also enjoyed wood carving, gardening and fishing.

3 Granddaughters: Kayla Brooks, Kassi Brooks and Madison Panter, and many Nieces and Nephews
