Harkless M. Kinsey
March 1, 1919 — January 24, 2013
Harkless M. “Hark” Kinsey, age 93, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
Born in Rome, Mr. Kinsey lived in Rossville for a period of time before moving to Cobb County in 1952. He retired from Lockheed after 30 years of employment, and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during WWII. He was also a member of Lithia Heights Baptist Church, and his passion was gardening and farming.
He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Survivors include:
Wife: Ruth Kinsey
Son: Garry (Diane) Kinsey, Powder Springs, GA
Brother: Carl Kinsey, Talking Rock, GA
Granddaughter: Stephanie (Greg) Hubbell
2 Great Grandchildren: Jacob and Will Hubbell
