Gregory Conley

Gregory Ronald Conley, age 49, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, February 25, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Burnt Hickory Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Pastor Matt Petty officiating.

A native of Mableton, GA, Greg graduated from Pebblebrook High School in 1991, then went on to graduate from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in Science and Education. He worked as an educator and physical education teacher at Tapp, Palmer, Moses, and Austin Middle Schools in Cobb and Paulding Counties. He also enjoyed coaching girl's fast pitch softball and girl's and boy's soccer. He was a diehard Georgia Bulldog fan, and was passionate about his God, his church, and his family.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Conley. Survivors include: Wife of 25 years, Kelly H. Conley; Son, Tanner Conley, Douglasville, GA; Mother, Helen Conley, Powder Springs, GA; 2 Sisters, Melanie (Mike) Mendenhall, Douglasville, GA, and Tammy (Ben) Newman, Marietta, GA; Mother and Father-in-Law, Nancy and Bobby McLendon, Powder Springs, GA; Nieces and Nephews, Shaun Mendenhall, Nick Mendenhall, Cameron Mendenhall, Kate Newman, Andrew Newman, Natalie Haggard, Ella Haggard, and Abbie Haggard; Brother and Sister-in-Law, Keith and Amber Haggard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Greg Conley's memory to the American Diabetes Association @ www.diabetes.org .
