Grant Richard Riddell, age 49, of Austell passed away April 3, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 6 at 1 pm in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
Grant was born in Atlanta and lived in Cobb County most of his adult life. He was an auto mechanic and loved working on muscle cars and antique cars in his spare time. He enjoyed attending the drag races and the many seasonal events around Atlanta. He was a proud dad and step-grandfather.
He is survived by his parents: Terrence Riddell and Judy Short of Marietta; brothers: Vince Riddell, Jimmy Barnett and Josh Franklyn; his children: Spencer, Jack, Ginny Lyn and step-son, Preston; their mothers: Margaret (Muffie) Riddell and Becky Jernigan; his step daughters: Amanda Nichols, Candace Leavens and Heather Marshall and 7 step-grandchildren.
