Glendolyn Mary Grassi

Glendolyn Mary Grassi, age 85, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta, GA. with Father John Walsh officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Saint Joseph Catholic Church Resurrection Garden.

Glendolyn was born in New Orleans, LA. and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in New Orleans. She was a devout Catholic, who loved practicing her faith where she was a member at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marietta. She loved children and dedicated her life to making children happy. Glendolyn enjoyed spending time with her family, including her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she also loved gardening, watching old movies, cooking and baking.

Glendolyn was preceded in death by her father, William Andrew Lane, her mother, Sidonia (Sue) Lane and her son-in-law, Wendel Hall Sr. She is survived by her children, Michael Grassi, Therese Eastham (Pearson), and Marie Hall; grandchildren, Pearson Eastham, Jr. (Christy), Jessica Hembree (Phillip), W. Thomas Hall, Joseph Hall (Caroline) and Christian Hall; great grandchildren, Tristan Eastham, Emma Eastham, Grayson Eastham, Logan Hembree and Charlie Faye Hall; sisters, Gay Hernandez, Joyce Keller and Jesse Lane; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA. Contributions can be made in Glendolyn Mary Grassi's memory to the St Jude Children's Hospital at stjude.org.
