Glenda Mann

Glenda Faye Green Mann, 85, of Mableton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Duston and Opal Warren on August 20, 1939, in Rome, Georgia. Known for her bright and cheerful spirit, Glenda brought joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life for 32 years, Charles Green, and her kind and caring husband of eight years, William Mann. She was also preceded in death by her beloved sister, Elizabeth Payne, and two grandchildren, Will and Sierra Samanie.

Glenda is survived by her four children and their spouses: Angela Rollins and husband Brent of Dallas, Georgia; Kathy Betts and husband Mike of Douglasville, Georgia; Tony Simpson of Luzerne, Michigan; and Charity Samanie and husband Leonard of Powder Springs, Georgia. She is also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, who were the light of her life.

Her faith and love for Jesus were the foundation of her life, and she dedicated herself to loving others with kindness and compassion. She adored her family and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Glenda's life was a testament to her love of God and others. She filled her days sharing warmth, generosity, and encouragement with everyone she encountered. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and an open invitation to anyone needing support.

A celebration of Glenda's life will be held at West Ridge Church on January 30, 2025, at 12 pm, with visitation beginning at 11 am. Join us as we honor Glenda, whose radiant smile and sparkling personality brightened every room she entered. Known for her love of bright colors and sparkles, we invite you to reflect her vibrant spirit by wearing something colorful or sparkly to the celebration.

Her bright and cheerful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her loved ones, and joyfully singing and dancing in the presence of her Savior.
