Gesinda Gorman Brady, fondly known to many as Cindy, was born to the union of William James Gorman and Johngy Moore on October 5, 1950 in Northport, NY. On March 16, 2021, while surrounded by her family, an angel from Heaven entered Cindy's hospital room, took her hand, released her from all pain and guided her to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, William J. Gorman and Johngy Moore as well as her brother, William Gorman Jr.
Cindy spent her formative years in Northport, NY where she graduated from Northport High School. She continued her education at C.W. Post University where she earned Bachelor's degree in 1972. She began her career as a school teacher and later served as Comptroller for W.H. Freeman Publishing in Manhattan, NY, and retired from her role as Accounts Payable Manager at Rowman and Littlefield Publishing in Washington, D.C.
On October 27, 2001, she married her soulmate, Ronald Brady. They moved from Washington, D.C. to Laurel, Maryland where they spent many years and made so many wonderful memories. In October of 2018, they moved to Powder Springs, Georgia to be closer to their Grandchildren.
Cindy was a very loving wife, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She deeply cherished her family, especially her grandchildren who brought so much joy to her life. She made many friends throughout her life's travels. She especially enjoyed cruises around the world with friends and intimate road trips with her husband. She will be remembered for her loving and generous spirit and warm smile. Cindy was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Ronald Brady; her two sisters, Mikey Guinn and Sally Campanella and her brother-in-law, Richard Campanella; her grandchildren, Amara Brady, Jaylen Brady, Nicholas Brady, Liam Brady, Justin Brady, Nina Brady, and Gavin Brady; and a host of nieces, other relatives and special friends who loved her dearly.
