George Thompson

George J. Thompson, age 59, of Kennesaw, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Northwest Christian Church in Acworth with Rev. Ron Mobley and Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

A native of southern California, Mr. Thompson moved to Kennesaw in 1999 from San Diego. He was a Teamster, and retired from Von’s Grocery Company after 20 years of employment. He had coached track at Bishop Amat Memorial High School in LaPuente, CA, was a certified Genealogist, and was a member of Northwest Christian Church.
