George Arvil Latham

George Arvil Latham, age 89, of Powder Springs, Georgia went to meet the Lord and his loving wife Ann Latham on April 19, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Allen Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.. Mr. Latham was also preceded in death by his daughters Judy Lonberg and Brenda Wilbur.

Mr. Latham was a native of Lenoir City, TN. He was a United States Navy Veteran who loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include: sisters: Jean and Jane Breazeale; grandson: Brian (Kadum) Lonberg; granddaughter: Erica Carter; step-daughters: Judy (George) Washam, Lisa Gibson (Mike Bulter), Pam (Jackie) Rich, and Brenda Davenport; step-son: David Lively and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
