Geneva H. Hancock

Geneva H. Hancock, age 95, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away July 8, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Elder Bill Mullis officiating. Interment will follow Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia.

Geneva was a native of Madison County, NC and had spent the last 50 years in Cobb County. She was a member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church in Sasser, GA.

Survivors include: four children: Sharon Carpenter of Acworth, GA, Yvonne Harpe of Powder Springs, GA, Marion Jo Hancock of Marietta, GA, and Carmon Hancock of Tucker, GA; five grandchildren: Jerry Carpenter, Christy Harpe Jones, Brian Harpe, Ryan Hancock and Lauren Hancock Cantrell; Eleven great-grandchildren: Rylee, Brick and Aiden Harpe, Chris, Jeff, Ethan, and Ashley Triemer, Alder and Noah Hancock, Julianna Henson and Lily Jones and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Reason P. Hancock, Sr. and their son Reason P. Hancock, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
