Freddie Donald Glover, age 85, of Roopville, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Jessie Nelms officiating.
Born in Cumming, GA, Mr. Glover lived Mableton and Smyrna for most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He retired from Atlantic Steel in Atlanta after 40 years of employment. He was a former Mason and a Shriner, and was of the Methodist faith.
He was preceded in death by:
Father: Ben Glover
Mother: Willie Echo Jones Glover.
Survivors include:
Wife of 65 years: Mary Louise Glover
2 Children: Marian Glover, Roopville, GA and Donald (Karen) Glover, Temple, GA
Sister: Myra Eades, Rockport, TX
3 Grandchildren: Christopher Glover, Stephanie Rouse, and Brian Glover
13 Great Grandchildren
