Franklin Ray Bonds

Franklin Ray Bonds, age 80, of Austell, Georgia passed away December 7, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 13, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife Diane Bonds in 2014.

Ray was a native of Choccolocco, AL and has lived in Austell, GA since 1963. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a Barber for over sixty years and retired from Cobb County Board of Education as a bus driver for the handicap. He attended Concord Baptist Church. He loved golf, farming, gambling and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: two sons: Donnie (Toni) Bonds of Villa Rica, GA and Chris (Teresa) Bonds of Hiram, GA; sister: Patricia ( Pat) Ann Adams of Oxford, AL; two grandchildren: Austin and Braydon.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
