Frankie was a native and lifelong resident of the Atlanta area. She was a member of Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA. She was a retired Office Manager from Panattoni Development.
Survivors include: husband: David M. Gerhard of Marietta, GA; three children: Thomas Lynn Smithwick, Jr. of Dallas, GA, John Timothy Smithwick of Parker, CO and David Kevin Gerhard of Dallas, GA; step-son: Michael Gerhard of Powder Springs, GA; nine grandchildren: Madalynn Nicole Gerhard, Kaley Marie Brown, Jewel Taylor Gerhard, Maximus David Gerhard, Sydney Gail Smithwick, Jacob Paul Smithwick, Sophia Sharon Smithwick, Dylan Paul Smithwick and Isabel Irene Smithwick; great grandchild: Sawyer James Brown; sister: Vicky Lynn Dinning; brother: Benjamin Franklin Anderson, II
