Frankie Lou Collett

Frankie Lou Collett, age 97, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Smyrna, Ga.

Born and raised in Forsyth County, GA, Mrs. Collett moved to Cobb County in 1954. She worked at Whittier Mills in Atlanta for many years, then worked for Raylock before retirement. She was a longtime member of Macland Baptist Church where she loved her Sunday School Class. She also enjoyed quilting, and loved spending time with her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren.

Survivors include: 2 Children, Kenneth (Mary) Collett, Powder Springs, GA, and Lydia (Don) Jones, Smyrna, GA; 3 Grandchildren, Rodney (Regina) Collett, Michelle (Scotty) Strickland, and Cliff (Carrie Neal)) Jones; 6 Great Grandchildren, Zachary, Justin, Evan (Jordyn), Collett (Austin), Collin, and Keagan, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, Ellis and Charlie.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
