Francisco Rosales-Sanchez

Francisco Rosales Sanchez, age 68, of Acapulco, Mexico passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021. He was born October 10, 1952, in Acapulco. Guerrero, the son of Gregorio Rosales Salas and Catalina Sánchez Andrade.

Francisco, or Frank, as he was called so dearly by friends and family, has always had a love for the sea. He shared his love for the sea by creating a scuba diving school where travelers could come from all parts of the world to marvel at the beauty under the sea. Not only was Frank successful in the waters, but he conquered the skies for a short time by obtaining his pilot license, Sailing the Caribbean seas, hopping in the boxing ring to duke out a few punches, and putting his culinary skills to use in baking. No matter the profession Frank tried, his heart would always return to the sea. He always found a way of reminding everyone he could about the importance of protecting the environment. He was an active participant in the Subaquatic Ecological Protection in Acapulco. Frank had many fond memories of scuba diving with his children on Sundays and scuba diving with friends when possible.

A service of remembrance will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be a visitation for friends and family from 1:00-3:00 pm. Interment will be on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 4:00 pm at Mableton Memorial Gardens in Church St, Mableton, GA 30126.

Frank was predeceased by his Father, Gregorio Rosales Salas, and brother, Ricardo Rosales Sánchez. Frank leaves behind his mother, Catalina Sánchez Andrade; his siblings, Roberto, Rosy, Carlos, Reyna, Mauricio, and Katy Rosales. Survivors also include his daughter and son-in-law: Odette Argudin and Daniel Argudin; daughter and son-in-law: Karina Rosales and Miguel Gonzalez; son and daughter-in-law: Frank Rosales Ruiz and Sonia Rosales; daughter and son-in-law: Miriam Ayala and Jarom Ayala; sons: Andres Rosales Gonzalez and Francisco Rosales Gonzales.
And his twelve grandchildren by order of age: Oliver Argudin, Jan Gonzalez, Kayssi Argudin, Kareem Gonzalez, Alicia Argudin, Laily Rosales, Diana Rosales, Silvia Argudin, Frida Gonzalez, Maui Rosales, Aliana Ayala, and Nathan Ayala, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family.

Francisco, o Frank, como le llamaban tanto los amigos y la familia, siempre ha tenido un amor por el mar. Compartió su amor por el mar creando una escuela de buceo donde los viajeros podían venir de todas partes del mundo para maravillarse con la belleza debajo del mar. Frank no solo tuvo éxito en las aguas, sino que conquistó los cielos por un corto tiempo obteniendo su licencia de piloto, navegando por los mares del Caribe, saltando en el ring de boxeo para golpear unos cuantos oponentes y poniendo sus habilidades culinarias en uso en la cocción. No importaba la profesión que Frank intentara, su corazón siempre se regresaba al mar. Siempre encontraba una manera de recordar a todos los que podía sobre la importancia de proteger el medio ambiente. Fue un participante activo en la protección ecológica subacuática en Acapulco. Frank tenía muchos buenos recuerdos de bucear con sus hijos los domingos y bucear con amigos cuando era posible.

Un servicio de recuerdo se llevará a cabo a las 3:00 pm el sábado 20 de febrero de 2021, en la funeraria y crematorio West Cobb. Habrá una visita para amigos y familiares de 1:00-3: 00 pm. El entierro será el sábado 20 de febrero de 2021, a las 4:00 pm en Mableton Memorial Gardens en Church St, Mableton, GA 30126.

Frank fue precedido en la muerte por su padre, Gregorio Rosales Salas, y su hermano, Ricardo Rosales Sánchez. Frank deja atrás a su madre, Catalina Sánchez Andrade; sus hermanos, Roberto, Rosy, Carlos, Reyna, Mauricio, y Katy Rosales.
