Francis Aloysius Lewis

Francis Aloysius “Frank” Lewis, age 69, of Marietta, GA passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 10am on Friday, August 19, 2011 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lithia Springs with Father Timothy Lyons officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, GA.



A native of Dunkirk, NY, Mr. Lewis moved to Georgia 42 years ago from Albuquerque, NM. He was a retired truck driver, enjoyed traveling, and was proud to say that he had visited all 50 states in America. A 1959 graduate of Dunkirk High School, Mr. Lewis served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War for 8 years. He was a member of many organizations, including the Knights of Columbus, the Air Commandos, the Disabled Veterans and the Georgia Sheriff’s Association, and enjoyed playing golf and working at Dogwood Golf Club after retirement.

2 Sisters: Mary Ann Lasecki, Warren, PA

Barbara Biondo and husband Ken, Dunkirk, NY

6 Grandchildren: Brooks Lewis, Braden Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Liam McDonald, Connor McDonald and Emmie Wallis
