Forest Eugene Reeves

Forest Eugene Reeves, 83. Forest was born in Atlanta on September 5th, 1931 and passed away on September 18th, 2014. He was married to his wife of 61 years, Mary Meek Reeves, on July 28th, 1953. Forest joined the Air Force where he served a total of 22 years and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. His service included two tours in Thailand during the Vietnam War. During his time in the Air Force, Forest was a world traveler. His family lived in Florida, Newfoundland, New Jersey, Washington State, Germany, and North Dakota before retiring back home in Georgia, where he worked ten years for Hill Air Craft and then spent the rest of his working years as a chicken farmer.



Forest is survived by his wife Mary and his three sons, Alan Reeves and wife Beth, Dan Reeves and wife Melody, and Daryl Reeves and wife Melonie as well as seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.



Memorial Services will be held at 2pm on Monday, September 22, 2014 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta. The family will receive friends from 12pm until the service. Inurnment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. Online guestbook www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
