Florence Nabbosa

Florence Nabbosa was born on August 24th 1965 to Mr. Paul and Gertrude Bbosa of Masaka Uganda, now deceased. She was also preceded in death by sisters Nalujja and Nababi. She is survived by two sisters Gorrett Nalubulwa and Nakimera. Here in the United States she is survived by her family at large. She attended Butende Primary School and later joined Ndejje secondary School located in Uganda.

In 1987 she migrated to US and lived with maama and taata Matovu of Kansas city Missouri. She was a good entrepreneur and owned and resale shop. She worked with passion and won an entrepreneur award while in Kansas City. She Moved to North Carolina in 1998 where she lived until 2017. She was very organized, clean, loved to cook, travel, party and make friends. While in North Carolina she received an associate degree in Nursing and worked passionately helping those in need. She was loved by her coworker and was held with high regard.

In 2017 she moved to Atlanta to be close to her family. While in Atlanta she worked with Douglasville county Jail department until December 2020. On June 26th 2021 she fell very ill and was admitted to the hospital where she was diagnosed with stage IV Lung Cancer. The illness took a great toll on her and was taken care of by her sisters Lillian and Baaba Patronella, in addition to her Brother in law Mr. Stanley Kavuma plus the rest of the family as she received treatment and tried to regain her strength.

She was loved by the Atlanta community and quickly made friends with people who visited, prayed and encouraged her through her tough journey. She continued to stay strong with a positive attitude until the lord called on her to rest on June 5th 2022.

Our dear Florence thank you so much for the great ways impacted our lives, we love you and will always miss you. May the good lord rest your soul in eternity.
