Florence Cantwell Johann

Florence Cantwell Pickett Johann’s sweet spirit left this earth on September 6, 2020 shortly before her 97th birthday. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 11, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her family is proud and grateful for having her in their lives. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where she graduated from Washington Seminary and attended Oglethorpe University. She was an avid reader, miniature builder, gardener and fashion trendsetter. Being part of the greatest generation in every sense she was generous in spirit and devoted to her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Dana Eskridge, Mary Lou Killingsworth, and Janice Lofgren; her grandchildren, Tony Killingsworth, Patrick Killingsworth, Daniel Eskridge, David Eskridge, Jeff Morris, and Janet Botha; as well as 14 great grandchildren. Although her family misses her deeply they are also contented in the knowledge that she is with her Lord and Savior.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
