Florence Hamby

Florence Hamby entered this world on February 22, 1925 in Penzance, England and departed from us December 15, 2011. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jake; her two sons, Dennis and Butch and her baby daughter, Patsy. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine & Jerrel Mayfield; grandchildren, Tanya Spell King, Jerrell Mayfield Jr. & wife, Kari, Wendy Phillips & husband, Paul, Bridgett, Hailey, Alisha, and Nicole Hamby; great- grandchildren, Jacob & Briane King, McKenzie, Madison, & Megan Mayfield, Corey, Joshua, & Jon Paul Phillips, & Elizabeth Outlaw.



Funeral services will be Friday, December 16, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Norris officiating. There will also be a visitation at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marieta, GA on Monday, December 19, 2011, from 10:00am until 10:45am with a graveside service and burial at Mayes Family Cemetery in Marietta, GA at 11:00am.



The family would like to give special thanks to Jerrel Mayfield Sr. for his tireless efforts in helping to take care of our granny.
