Flonnie Mae McTyre, age 84, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 11am Wednesday, August 10th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Clint Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Powder Springs Cemetery. A native of Ben Hill, GA, she attended school at Russell High School in East Point. She was a homemaker, and a member of Mableton First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion W. McTyre. Survivors include: Children, Rick (Joy) McTyre of Marietta, Ga, Don (Catherine) McTyre of Denver, CO, Mark (Terri) McTyre of Douglasville, GA and Lynn (Gene) Fisher of Canton, GA; Siblings, Floyd Hosea of Jefferson City, TN and Betty Stowers of Mableton, Ga; Grandchildren, Emory McTyre, Lindsey Horn, Zachary McTyre, Danielle McTyre, Blake McTyre, Jacob Fisher and Luke Fisher; Great Grandchildren, Lily McTyre, Brynn McTyre and Wesley McTyre. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
