Flay Marie Houston

Flay Marie Houston, age 94, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Curtis Swint officiating. Entombment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.

Born in Coffee County, Alabama, Mrs. Houston had lived in Cobb County, GA for most of her life. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School, and was most recently a member of Concord Baptist Church in Mableton, GA. She also loved gardening and baking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Schofner L. Houston, in 2005, and an infant son, Randy Dean Houston, in 1956.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters, Gloria Marie (Jim) Vaughn, Marietta, GA and Amy L. (Wayne) Hendon, Monroe, GA; Sister, Margaret Craft, Eufaula, AL; 4 Grandchildren, Kristina Bohanan, Rodney Jim Vaughn, Joshua Hendon and Dannielle Hendon; 5 Great Grandchildren, Alicia Vaughn, Annabelle Vaughn, Lilly Ann Vaughn, Brody Bohanan and Miller Bohanan.
