Faye Berry Stamey

Faye Berry Stamey, age 83, of Marietta, Georgia passed away December 31, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 7, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.

Faye was born in Marietta, GA to the late Emmett and Leona Berry. She graduated from Marietta High School and has been married to her husband, John Stamey, for nearly 63 years. Faye was an avid church attendee up until her health was an issue and last attended Eastwood Baptist Church. She retired from the Cobb County School System in 2000. She loved having her home full of her children and prided herself on those after church Sunday dinners as her family grew.

Mrs Stamey is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Lisa and Kevin Seal; son Jeff and Shannon Stamey; daughter, Tonya Stamey; grandchildren: Heather Seal, Katie (Grant) Grumke, Zach (Savannah) Stone, Zach Stamey, Trenton Seal, Ashley Stamey and Caden Stamey and three great-grandchildren: Teagan, Hazel and Tate.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
