Evelyn Mae Mattern

Evelyn Mae Mattern, age 82, of Hiram, Georgia passed away December 3, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Larry Hart officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Yonah View Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, Georgia. Mrs. Mattern was a long time resident of Powder Springs before moving to Dahlonega where she was a member of The Dahlonega United Methodist Church and then she returned to reside in Hiram. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Joseph Mattern who passed away in May of 2003.

Survivors include her children, Robert Dean Mattern of Dahlonega, GA., Michelle Mattern (Gary) Kenady of Dallas, GA., Leon Joseph (Melissa) Mattern III of Lawrenceville, GA., Trina (Richard) Hart of Hiram, GA.; Sister, Nancy Feaster of Montgomery, PA.; 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren
