Evelyn C. Halton, age 83, of Austell passed away Monday, April 21, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 25 at 11 am in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park in Douglasville, GA.
Mrs. Halton lived most of her life in Cobb County and attended Calvary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Earl Halton and is survived by her 5 children: Clara Rebecca Bailey of Polk County, Daniel Jackson Blair of Hiram, Phillip Wallace Blair of Lavonia, Samuel Terry Blair of Marietta and Constance Even Saxon of Douglasville; 7 step-children and their families; 1 brother, Thomas Hugh George of Danville, CA; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
